Zeamarine is a global leader in maritime logistics. After a merger between Zeaborn of Germany and Intermarine of the US, Zeamarine was primed to set itself apart in the industry with a brand befitting of their pedigree, expertise, and technological advancements. With a desire to push against the status quo, we positioned Zeamarine as a challenger brand that would fearlessly stand out in a sea of sameness.

In an industry full of blues, reds, and greens, we rallied around a bold color palette rooted in royalty, oceanic exploration, and trade. To make the first purple shades, dye-makers had to crush the shells of a species of sea snail, extract its purple mucus and then expose it to the sun for a specific period. The process made the colour so scarce and expensive that wearing it was a symbol of status and wealth. Conceptually cool, but pragmatically, purple hadn't been used by any maritime company to date. Over the course of 8 short weeks, we collaborated closely with the Zeamarine marketing team to produce a visual identity, corporate collateral, field graphics, and a bespoke web exprience.
